About The Grove

The Grove is a personal life operating system built and operated by Chris Shanku. It integrates email, calendar, contacts, notes, tasks, and co-parenting communication into a single dashboard at thegrove.pro. By using The Grove, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use The Grove. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.

Connected Accounts and Third-Party Services

The Grove allows you to connect external accounts (including Google accounts for Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, and Drive) so the service can present and act on that data on your behalf. By connecting an account, you authorize The Grove to access the data covered by the OAuth scopes you approve, and you agree that:

• You will only connect accounts that you own or are authorized to use.
• You may revoke The Grove's access at any time through the connected provider's account settings (e.g., the Google Account "Third-party apps with account access" page).
• The Grove's handling of data received from connected accounts is described in the Privacy Policy, including Limited Use compliance for Google user data.
• The Grove relies on the availability and behavior of third-party providers (Google, Microsoft, Twilio, and others). Outages, scope changes, or policy changes at those providers may affect functionality.

SMS Messaging Terms

The Grove provides SMS messaging as part of its co-parenting communication features. By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from The Grove.

• Message frequency: Approximately 1-4 messages per week.
• Message content: Co-parenting updates, child observation digests, and scheduling reminders.
• Opt-out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
• Help: Reply HELP for assistance.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.
• SMS messaging is provided through Twilio. Carrier support may vary.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use The Grove only for its intended purposes - personal productivity and constructive co-parenting communication. You agree not to use the service to harass, threaten, or send abusive content to other users.

Service Availability

The Grove is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Grove and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to The Grove at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
